What is difference between slideshow photo gallery and VisualLightBox?

Q: I just bought wowslider and associated bundle, when I was just reviewing the Visual Lightbox website, it showed the same publish screen layout as wowslider. what is the purpose of visual lightbox bundle if I have the same with wowslider?

A: Actually, wowslider and VisualLightBox work in different ways.

wowslider app. generates slideshows, that are displayed on the page permanently.
Slideshows have transition effect between slides.

VisualLightBox app. generates image galleries. Images appear in pop up window after
clicking on thumbnail. When you close pop up windows, you'll see static thumbnails only.
